Difficult Obedience

Difficult Obedience

(Ezekiel 2:1-10) What was Ezekiel called to do? He was called to something very difficult for sure. I believe we are also called upon this very difficult task. The task is sharing God’s truth to those that don’t want to hear it.

As I briefly think about all what may happen during the end times, and the very idea that it could be seen in our generation, sharing God’s truth and what He says will be coming is something very similar to what Ezekiel was called to do. God didn’t put any stipulations on sharing the Gospel to the world. He commanded us to share it throughout all the world, period. As people we are so quick to make excuses for why we should sharing His Good New with people. We can see that happening many times in scripture, even Moses tried to makes excuses for why he couldn’t do what God asked. “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13) So we know God’s promises but we have so little faith. Even the disciples, having Christ with them, showed themselves to have so little faith.

Are we going to rise up to God’s calling, rely on Him, and step out in faith?
