We Can Do Nothing

(Luke 9:37-48) The were found arguing who would be greater, but the reality of it is that none of is is greater than the other, we are all as sinful as the next. It is so easy for us to rate sin and judge each other, or justify ourselves by comparison. We can only become more than our sinful selves through the blood of and the work of the in our lives.

Our focus as followers of Christ cannot be how we can be greater than another follower, but how we can best be used by Seeking His will and direction for our lives. Christ was showing the Disciples then, and us now, that we need to reduce ourselves to children and keep from following the competitive, self-seeking, nature that is in us.
