(1 Timothy 6:11-21) It still amazes me at times that words written to Timothy in the Bible so easily apply to my own life, and I feel as though it was written directly to me. It can be very easy for even me to be caught up in the worlds push for expanded knowledge. I love to learn and figure out new things. One of the greatest opportunities I have though is to continue to learn what God has layed down in the scriptures.
(John 17:1-26) The commentator describes this passage in John as really the true “Lord’s Prayer”. That aside, how amazing, and humbling, it is to read that Jesus spent time in prayer to the Father for us. And it wasn’t just us as the world, but those of us that have chosen to follow Him. He was lifting us up to God the Father, even while knowing how we would stumble in our walk with Him. The sticking point for me is how amazing God’s love is, to a people so undeserving of it.

I must apologize for the delay in getting out the next podcast. Things have been quite busy with a lot of changes in my life. You could be receiving this podcast from the great state of Michigan in the near future. I have moved the daily devotional thoughts to my personal blog, but I think I may move those back to here. I was looking to keep a space for continued online discussion for the youth that I work with, however there hasn’t been a lot of interest so I won’t be reserving space for that.
